Dance Concert May 30 at 7:00 in the auditorium. DTE is presenting new choreographies in a variety of styles. There will be only one night of this show. Don't miss out on being inspired through dance.

On Tuesday, May 15, the Environmental Action Club is hosting another clothing sale to clean up for the summer! It will be from 2:20 to 3:00 in the cafeteria, and this time, all clothing will be either $2 or $1! Don't miss the chance to get some nice clothing at a great price, and the profits will go to help Puerto Rico again, so bring your wallet and come after school on Tuesday!

Ms. DW, the Student Support & Intervention Specialist, is excited to announce there will be a new Restorative Justice Student leadership ALPS (Alternative Learning Program) offered at ARHS next school year! There is an application process because space is limited. To learn more, and to be considered for a spot in this leadership program, please come to the informational meeting. Ms. DW and Evelin Aquino (scholar and community member) will be holding an informational session Wednesday, May 16th, in room 161, at 2:30 pm

Amherst Regional High School students recently won a number of awards from NESPA, the New England Scholastic Press Association housed at Boston University's School of Communication. Thousands of students and hundreds of newspapers from all over New England enter their annual journalism competition. This year, The Graphic won a Superior Achievement Award. The following students won Special Achievement Awards: Piper Lacy for a "personality profile" on retiring custodian Stu Kinsman; Luca LaRaja for his "review" of Lili's Restaurant in Amherst; Sam Brainin for a "sports story" on a Brazilian soccer duo who play for ARHS; and Lauren Phillips-Jackson for feature wrtiting about Austism Awareness Night/programming last spring. Students may come to see Ms. Barber-Just to pick up their awards.

AP exams today have an arrival time of 11:30 and run from 12 - 4. Students testing should take first lunch, no matter what your class is doing and then report to test locations, posted outside Guidance.

Dance Theatre Ensemble is presenting a new concert symbolizing 'home' and what it means to each of us through Hip Hop, ballet, modern, and Caribbean inspired dance. It will take place on Wednesday May 30 at 7:00pm in the ARHS auditorium. Tickets for sale at lunches and at the door. Come support ARHS Dance!

Boys - When you turn 18 did you know you must register with the Selective Service? - it's the law.

It's really easy - Go to www.sss.gov. You can't get financial aid among other things if you aren't registered.

Once you're 17 and 3 months you can do it ahead of time and it will upload when you turn 18.

Audition for Pelham Players! Pelham Players is a free children's theater program for kids in Pelham and the surrounding area. This summer's show will be Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance!" The tentative performance dates will be July 6-8.

Auditions for The Pirates of Penzance will be held on Saturday, May 19 from 10 to noon at the Pelham Library. Everyone is guaranteed a part, but auditions will help determine who fits which role. Kids should prepare something (anything) to sing, no more than 30 seconds long. E-mail Solomon_Goldstein-Rose@alumni.brown.edu if you need an alternate time/day.

All students or staff interested in the Sene-Gambian Scholars program please come to Room 225 (Mr Kropf's room) after school on Monday 5/7 for some information about the program. We will be hosting visitors from Senegal and The Gambia next Spring, and we plan to visit West Africa again in 2020. Snacks and food order forms for the upcoming fundraiser will be available!

Any ARHS students interested in attending Northampton Pride, our local LGBTQ pride festival should come to the parade in Northampton on Saturday! It kicks off at 11 a.m. from Old South Street, goes through Main Street, and ends at the fair grounds, with events occurring until 5 pm. You can get more info at nohopride.org.
