Survival Living is an after school class that meets twice per week from January through June. The class teaches wilderness survival skills and is open to all students. There are three overnight trips as part of the class. For more information and to sign up, come to room 225 or speak to Mr. Kropf.

Attention all seniors: Nominations for the 2018 MARTIN LUTHER KING SCHOLARSHIP AWARD are now open. This opportunity is open to all high school seniors living in Amherst, Belchertown, Pelham, Leveret, Shutesbury, Hadley or Northampton. Interested high school seniors must be nominated to participate in an essay competition, from which deserving winners will be selected by the MLK Scholarships Committee. If you would like to be nominated please speak to any adult and ask them to nominate you. Information and materials are in the Guidance office. All ARHS teachers have as well.
In addition, nominations are being accepted for the Annual Outstanding Citizen's Award.
The deadline for all materials is December 23rd.

Big kick off to the basketball season! The annual Pioneer Valley Tip-Off will be happening again Friday, December 8th at the UMass Cage! Ticket prices: $5 for Students/Seniors, $7 for adults. It will be a match up between the Hurricanes and the Blue Devils for both boys and girls. Girls start at 6 p.m., boys start at 7:30 p.m.
Our boys and girls Swim/Dive team will also be submerging themselves into their season that day as well. Meet time is 5 p.m. at the Middle School!
Check the MIAA site for schedules, updates and cancellations throughout the winter season for all of our Hurricane happenings!
