This week, FBLA will be selling 'Canes for the Cure shirts for 15$ during all lunches in the cafeteria and after school in the school store. Free admission to the boys varsity basketball game at 7 on Thursday, February 1st and the girls varsity basketball game at 7 on Friday, February 2nd is included with the purchase of a shirt. All proceeds will support cancer patients at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

Spring sports registration opens February 1st. Ensure a smooth start to your spring sport season by registering early, paying and check with the nurse on your clearance status.

Boys Lacrosse - All those interested in playing boys lacrosse this spring, please attend an informational meeting on Thursday, February 1st @ 3 p.m. in Rm 112.

Girls Outdoor Track Candidates! Please stop by Room 326 briefly after school on Wednesday, January 31, to let Coach Gould know that you intend to participate. We need throwers (discus, shot, javelin), long, triple, and high jumpers, pole vaulters, sprinters, and distance runners! Never done it? We don't care! This quick meet and greet WILL NOT interfere either with afterschool help or team practices. See you soon!

It is time to sign-up for the American Mathematics Competition (AMC) that takes place Wednesday February 7, during E and F period (early release day). There are two levels of math contests, one for 9^th and 10^th grade students and one for students with experience in Integrated 3H and 4H. To sign-up, see your math teacher or go to room 221. Hi everyone! Best Buddies is happy to announce that we are having another meeting this upcoming Tuesday at 3:00 in the PIP room. We will be decorating posters to put up around the school, and we will have good snacks as usual. New members always welcome!

Juniors and seniors interested in the Doctor For a Day Program - the deadline is February 16th. If you have an application, be sure to get it sent in by then.
