- Are you an intermediate/expert skier or snowboarder? Do you want to learn to teach people with disabilities? Join us on Thursday, Nov 15th from 2:30-4:00pm to learn more about volunteering at Mount Snow this winter. During this meeting, some volunteers, and the program director are coming down from Vermont to talk to us about Mount Snow Adaptive sports. This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity that also offers free lift tickets. If you are interested email Ms. Camera at cameras@arps.org and join us in room 312 on Thursday, Nov.15th.
- This year's first magazine-sized issue of The Graphic is out! Grab a copy at lunch or check it out at thegraphic.arps.org. There are tons of wild, wonderful, frustrating, interesting, and inspiring things to read about.
- ARHS 4th annual French/Francophone Dinner:Come enjoy a night of exciting cultural experience and delicious French cuisine presented by our own French students! The cultural show will include student’s research presentations, art exhibits, folk tale presentations, music, singing, dancing, poetry, trivia, a raffle, and a fashion show.
The yummy menu will include couscous with vegetables, chicken kebab, Moroccan mint tea, some Francophone African food samplings, a crêpe station, a chocolate fondue fountain station and much more!
Email Jamie Simonson at simonsonjj@arps.org to buy a ticket today! $10 adults and $5 students. The dinner is free for kids under 5. Dinner is on Wednesday December 5 from 5:30-7:30 pm in the ARHS cafeteria. All proceeds will be donated to the French club activity fund. Merci!
- JETS CLUB: LAST CHANCE: Students interested in a Fun and Challenging Engineering Competition: Its time to start organizing this spring's TEAM+S Competition! Pick up a short form from the bulletin board in the Science Hallway (across from Room 218). Fill it out and return it to Ms. Blauner in Room 223 after school THIS WEEK.
- What's better than kicking off Thanksgiving baking and eating early, filling ARHS with sweets, AND supporting the senior class? Not much! The annual cake auction will take place on Monday, November 19th during all lunches. But first, we need cakes! Get together with friends or a club to design and decorate a creative cake. A substantial prize to the baker of the cake with the highest bid. More specifics soon. Contact Leif Maynard, Bona Lee, or any other 2019 class council member with questions.
- SUPPORT CHILDREN PLACED IN FOSTER CARE WITH THE ARHS NHS SUITCASE PROJECT - Join the National Honor Society with our suitcase/duffle bag drive this month. New suitcases/duffle bags can be dropped off with Mrs. White in Athletics. Later this month we will be collecting items to put in these suitcases/duffle bags. More information on that later this month. Please consider helping us make this a success. Chip in with some friends to purchase a suitcase/duffle bag. Thank you in advance for your support!

ion is now open. Ensure a smooth start to the winter season by registering NOW. Current sport physical forms should be on file with the school nurse before the first day of tryouts. Please check with the nurse's office to be sure you are cleared to participate.
