Tuesday, October 27, 2020

  • Join the International Students Club for lunch TODAY at 11:50-12:20 to discuss our plans for the year! We'll be talking about our plans for the year, including collaborations with other clubs, fundraising, and community service projects. Use the Google Meet link meet.google.com/lookup/isc to join us or contact Rebekah Hong (hongr@arps.org) or Mira Setty-Charity (settycharitym@arps.org).
  • Are you interested in being a changemaker at ARHS? Join the Student Advisory Council! This is a group of students representing all grade levels that advises administrators and the school committee on issues and policies that are important to the student body and we want you to join us! Our first meeting will be held after school on Wednesday 10/28 at 2:30. Use the Google Meet link meet.google.com/lookup/SAC or contact Ms. Stocker at stockere@arps.org with questions!
  • Hey everyone! ARHS’s Schools for Africa club will be having its first meeting this Wednesday, 10/28, at 3:15. You can join us with this link: https://meet.google.com/lookup/edmw2qd5f2?authuser=1&hs=179 to learn more about what fundraising projects we’ll be doing this year. New people are always welcome! If you have any questions, or if you can’t make this meeting, feel free to contact Sierra Triozzi at triozzisr@arps.org or our club advisor, Madame Cisse, at cisseo@arps.org. We hope to see you soon!
  • The ARHS Theater Company continues its 3-play season this fall of COVID theater-making by inviting you this weekend to Everybody, a 90-minute outdoor production at ARHS.  Written just a couple of years ago by Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins, one of the starts of the contemporary black playwrights movement that's helping redefine American theater, Everybody is a strange and delightful play that asks the biggest of questions: how do we want to look back on our lives and how we chose to live them?
Performances are this Saturday and Sunday, with 6pm and 8pm showings. Tickets are only available in advance here.  There will be an audience size limit, and mask-wearing and social-distancing is required.  Find our stage by parking in the athletics lot behind the school.  This is a seated show where we'll ask you to bring your own seat!  A lawn chair or similar might be perfect (although we'll have a few on hand if you need).
