  • National Hispanic Heritage Month begins on September 15 and ends on October 15. In honor a Fun Fact about Hispanic Heritage will be placed in the Afternoon Announcements.. We will also be sharing announcements submitted by students about influential Latinx People.
    • Today's Fact-                                                                                                   The number of Latinos who identify as multiracial has also increased, from 3 million to more than 20 million. 
  • In preparation for Picture Day on Tuesday, please be aware that you may not wear hats or anything on your head or face that may change your regular appearance.
    Also, you may not have props in your ID picture. Thank You!
  • Picture Day is Tuesday, September 28th. The forms will be distributed during Advisory on September 23rd. You can prepay for pictures at www.grynnternet.com. Enter code 3A7W5P4 and click login.   • More yearbook news will be coming soon, but for now....
    SENIORS. Please have your school photo taken at Picture Day on September 28th because this is how you will get a current student ID, which is needed for things like the SAT/ACT tests, employment, and a variety of other senior-year opportunities.

    Seniors may submit Senior Photos of their own to the yearbook by emailing them to Miss Garrity (garrityc@arps.org) by January 31st.
  • You're invited to a Hip Hop dance battle at the Totman Gym at UMass Amherst, from 3-6pm on Sunday. There will be a live DJ and elite dancers from Chicago, and it's free to watch or enter the battle. For more info, go to tinyurl.com/arpsbattle21 or talk to the dance teacher, Remy Fernández-O'Brien.
  • First Gen Fridayz - Life After ARHS Meeting
    If you are a First Generation College Student, Fridayz are for you (well, everyday is for you!!!)! Sign up to meet with Ms. Cuffee-Gray and learn the ins and outs of college admissions. We want your parent/guardian to attend as well. Here's the link to sign up! LINK - or come to Guidance and set a time.
  • College Visits Here at ARHS
    Juniors and Seniors - Keep your eye on college admissions reps visits in Naviance. This is a great way to learn about a college or university from someone that knows that institution well. You have to both sign up for the visit in NAVIANCE and communicate with the teacher whose class you're missing at least 24 hours in advance. Naviance is one of the apps you have access to in your @arps.org account on your ChromeBook. Juniors - If NAVIANCE something you know nothing about, or you forgot your password - that's OK -  you can check in with Ms. Garrity in Guidance. See your future!
