- National Hispanic Heritage Month begins on September 15 and ends on October 15. In honor a Fun Fact about Hispanic Heritage will be placed in the Afternoon Announcements.. We will also be sharing announcements submitted by students about influential Latinx People.
- Today's Fact- Famous singers with Hispanic heritage include Linda Ronstadt, Jennifer Lopez, Sammy Davis Jr., Christina Aguilera, Gloria Estefan, Trini Lopez, Ricky Martin, Carlos Santana, Selena, and Rita Moreno.

The only EXCUSED ABSENCES that DO NOT count towards loss of credit are:
School-related Absences that do not require students or families to submit a note (field trips, in-school meetings etc)
Non School-related Absences that DO require a note (observation of religious holidays, up to 3 college visits per year, physician-documented long-term illness, death in immediate family, court appearances)
