Spring sports have begun!!  All athletes need to keep their equipment; bats, balls, lacrosse sticks, etc... in their lockers during the school day.  If you have equipment that won't fit in a school locker, please see Mr. Ferro to make arrangements.

Did you know that climate change is already affecting our planet, and is causing bigger, more destructive storms? Please support Environmental Action Club in helping hurricane relief in Puerto Rico by donating new or used clothes, books, toys, accessories and other items to be sold at our upcoming Green Festival fundraiser. Donations can be put in the drop box outside of Guidance.

Students, the parking lot is overflowing with vehicles without parking permits so unfortunately we will begin towing this week. Retrieving a towed vehicle will cost approximately $125. Please submit Parking Permit Applications at the Deans Office, room 168.

POCU is sponsoring a Spring Food Drive to benefit the Amherst Survival Center. Please donate dry or canned food items, hygiene products and/or diapers. Thanks in advance for your generosity.

Do you like working with children and being outside? Farm and Garden Camp in Amherst is looking for Counselors in Training to work at their fun and exciting Farm and Garden camp this summer. This is a paid position for students ages 15-18. Information on the positions and how to apply can be found in the guidance office Job Book next to Ms. Cappelli's desk.

Emails went out to your school email if you have met the eligibility requirement to apply for membership in the National Honor Society. You are invited to submit an application to be a 2017-18 ARHS NHS Member. The ARHS Robert Frost Chapter of this organization recognizes students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher and demonstrate excellence in the areas of leadership, character, and service.  

The email you received  contains a classroom code to join the ARHS  NHS Google Classroom.  If you would like to apply for membership to the NHS for this school year, all the information can be found in this classroom. 

Once accepted, after the application process, you can attend  the NHS meetings which are held are the first Thursday of each month in Room 117 @ 3 p.m. sharp.
