- Students at ARHS are invited to claim FREE tickets to Out! For Reel’s LGBTQ Fall Film Fest! Just email Ms. Barber-Just at barber-justs@arps.org by this Friday or stop by room 172. She will contact the organizers and you can pick up your free tickets at the event. Here are the deets:
- WHEN: Saturday, September 21, 2019 Films: 7:00 - 9:30pm / Social Hour 6:00-7:00pm
- WHERE: Academy of Music Theatre, 274 Main St, Northampton, MA
- TICKETS: normally $11 Advance / $13 Door / $7 Students w/ID but FREE to ARHS students and their guests (including parents)

- THE HOMECOMING DANCE IS BACK! Everyone’s welcome, but this year’s theme is Girls Ask! More details to come! Bring back the Naysh!
- The next round of Theater Company AUDITIONS are next Monday and Tuesday after school - and we want you there! Come try out for Briefs - our evening of contemporary 10-minute plays going up in November and/or Shakespeare's over-the-top comedy, Twelfth Night, going up in December. Guess how much experience you need: none! Additional info is available on the auditorium doors. We will also offer an optional AUDITION WORKSHOP - open to all - to offer you tips and strategies for a successful audition at ARHS and beyond. If you're nervous about auditioning but secretly would love to be in a play, consider this a special invitation to come by! We'll meet this Friday, after school, until 3:45. We believe the auditions should be low-stress and should always involve cookies. Come along and be a part of it all. See Mr. Bechtold for questions.
- The Sene-Gambian Scholars Program will have its first meeting of year on Tuesday, September 17, at 2:30 in Room 147. Come learn about Africa and maybe go there next spring!
- There was an error in the previous morning announcement regarding the cost of the PSAT test, which will be administered here at ARHS on Wednesday October 16th. The cost for the 2019-20 test is $17 (not $16). Juniors who receive free/reduced lunch do receive fee waivers. Students can register beginning Monday, September 16, in either room 309 or 207 (checks payable to ARHS). Please contact Mr. Sadiq if you have any questions. Thanks.
