  • Today is the LAST DAY for Fall Theater Company Auditions!  Stop by after school for a 5-minute, low-stress audition for two productions going up in November and December.  There's lots of schedule flexibility, so athletes and others with busy lives after school can be involved.  No preparation or experience needed - and we'll give you cookies.  Actually.  See Mr. Bechtold for questions of any shape or size.
  • Come to room 166 at 2:30 today for the first meeting of Women's Rights Club! There will be snacks. We do multiple projects every year, and new people are always welcome!
  • THE HOMECOMING DANCE IS BACK! Show your school spirit by joining us on Saturday night, September 28th from 7-10 PM at the high school. Everyone is welcome to come, but this year, Girls Ask! Tickets will be sold starting Monday during lunch. They are $8 during lunch and $10 at the door. Bring back the Naysh!     Amherst Admissions and Financial Aid Officers join ARHS to review the ins and outs of ED/EA.

    9/26 Admissions Professional Panel 7:00-8:30 HS Library. Light refreshments.

    Hear about the admissions process from experts in the field. Smith College, Trinity College, UMASS Amherst, HCC & GCC reps will share important information about researching, building a list and applying to college. Apelila Joseph from Springfield Public School’s Springfield Promise and ARHS Alum Tenzin Dekyong will speak about financial aid .
    Open to all ARHS students and families. Get a head start or a refresher. Seniors and their caregivers who didn’t meet with Myra Ross in the spring are strongly encouraged to attend.

Whether you’ve come 50 times or this will be your first, join us for snacks and a STRESS-FREE (seriously)  discussion about what we will be doing this year.   • Not school sponsoredCritical Connections and Karuna Center for Peacebuilding are co-convening the discussion series "Understanding the Many Dimensions of White Identity: Politics, Power, and Prejudice," to explore the history, prevalence, and resurgence of political action based in white identity. This series will examine how white identity has the power to shape violent movements, as well as the root causes, fears, and prejudices that allow white supremacist ideology to exist in its less visible dimensions.
