Day 2
E Period Lunch
Drop A
  • Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors - You were sent a Google Form inquiring if you were interested in being an ARHS Student Ambassador for the MIAA.  Please remember that your response is due by September 20, 2018
  • SENIORS:  It's time to make sure your Naviance log-ins are working. Please take a moment to log-in to be sure you can access your account.

By Friday, September 28th, all 12th grade students are expected to have signed in successfully to their Naviance accounts. If you have trouble doing this, please stop in to guidance for help or a password reset before the end of September.  (Your Advisory lesson on October 4th depends on you having completed this step.)
  • In preparation for Picture Day on Tuesday, please be aware that you may not wear hats or anything on your head or face that may change your regular appearance. Also, you may not have props in your ID picture. Thank You!
  • AUDITIONS for Briefs, an evening of contemporary 10-minute plays, will be held this Monday and Tuesday after school in the Black Box.  This is the perfect show to audition for if you have a tight schedule but would still love to do theater this fall - schedules are flexible, with just a couple of rehearsals per week.  We'll need to cover approximately 30 roles, so your odds are pretty good, too!  No prep or experience needed - just show up, read a script and get a cookie.  Questions?  See Mr. Bechtold in the auditorium.
  • There will be a field trip to Holyoke Community College and Springfield Technical Community College on Wednesday, October 10. It will take almost all day.  If you want to visit those colleges and hear from current students and faculty, sign up in Guidance by Monday, September 24.
  • Calling all students!  Do you have a great idea for an activity or innovation that will benefit the ARHS community?  Need money to make it happen?  The ARHS PGO offers $200 grants to students twice a year.  The PGO has helped to fund display cabinets for student art in the school lobby, the Cambodian Heritage mural, instruments for Summit Academy, Consent Week, and more.
You will find the current application form on the clubs page of the ARHS website. Please note that the fall deadline for completed applications is Friday October 12th!
