  • Calling all students! If you have an interest in science, you’ll want to join Science Olympiad. Teams in Science Olympiad compete in tournaments to show off their scientific and engineering knowledge, including forensics, helicopters, and experimental design. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, September 18th @ 3:15pm in Room 227. See Mr. Scherff or Mr. Woodruff for more details. 
  • The School Store needs a new assistant manager. The position is open to sophomores and juniors. If you are interested and want to learn more, contact Thomas Franklin at franklintc@arps.org or Mrs. Sulikowski sulikowskim@arps.org (rm 304).
  • Student Parking Permit Applications are now available in the Deans Office, room 168.
    Seniors have first priority.
    Juniors who are school choice, have work study, internships or college courses during the school day may also apply.
    You must submit a completed application with your parent/guardian signature, a check for $75 made out to ARHS and bring in your license and registration for verification.
    Student Parking Spaces are in the rear of the main parking lot, denoted by white lines. Students may not park in Staff Parking which are in the front of the main parking lot with yellow lines.
    *All vehicles parked on school grounds must have current parking permits by September 28th or risk being towed.*
  • Pineapple Upside Down Cake Day is Wednesday. Please support the POCU Bake Sale after school.
  • POCU's first meeting is Tuesday, September 18 @ 3pm in room 117. All are Welcome!

  • PSAT
      Registration-reminder.  Now is the time to register for PSATs.  $16.00 cash or check.  
    Registration is available in the Guidance office, in Rm 207 or Rm 309.
     
    The deadline to register is October 1.
  • Outing Club will have a meeting in room 225 at 3pm today, Tuesday, to vote for club officers and pass out information about upcoming events. Stop by or speak to Mr. Kropf if you can't attend.
  • Calling all students!  Do you have a great idea for an activity or innovation that will benefit the ARHS community?  Need money to make it happen?  The ARHS PGO offers $200 grants to students twice a year.  The PGO has helped to fund display cabinets for student art in the school lobby, the Cambodian Heritage mural, instruments for Summit Academy, Consent Week, and more. 
    You will find the current application form on the clubs page of the ARHS website. Please note that the fall deadline for completed applications is Friday October 12th!
