  • Volunteers Needed to Give Student Tours at Open House on August 22, 2019.
Interested in welcoming our new students and showing them around at the Open House at the end of summer? Please add your name to the list in the Guidance Office.  9th graders, you are especially encouraged to consider doing this, since you probably remember what it was like last year to be new and how helpful a friendly tour guide can be. (Adding your name to the list is not a commitment; we realize summer plans may not be set yet.) If you add your name to the list, we'll email you to remind you  of the event at the beginning of August, so you can let us know then if you can make it.  All are welcome to sign up!! Thanks for your help!
  • Congressman Jim McGovern's Service Academy Night will take place on Tuesday, May 28th from 5:30-7:30 at Northbridge high School in Whitinsville, MA. • SENIORS: Be sure to check in with your teachers on Wednesday to find out if you qualify to be exempted from each of your exams.  Due to the special MCAS schedules on these days, you won't meet with your B period teachers so you need to find a way to contact them outside of class.
  • The Amherst 4th of July Celebration is looking for volunteers for this year’s festival. If you are interested in contributing to a community event, filled with fun and festivities, while getting a front row seat to the fireworks, come assist the Amherst 4th of July Celebration. This is a great opportunity to give back to your community, and get a behind the scenes look at event-planning, in addition to free food, drink & admission for all volunteers. If interested, please contact Noah Kramer at: LSSEFireworks@AmherstMA.gov or (413) 259-3267
