Did you know that the PGO offers grant money to students who want to help make a difference in the ARHS community? Multiple grants of up to $200 are available to individuals, teams, & clubs for performances, workshops, art installations, or whatever you can think up. Come see (for free) the first-ever dance concert of Introduction to Dance students (high school and middle school) in the ARHS auditorium this Friday Jan. 12 at 7:00.  Students will demonstrate warm-ups to full choreographies in Hip-Hop, Jazz,  Contemporary, and more.

Bomba's final formal concert is this Wednesday in the ARHS auditorium at 7:00 (free). Live music and dance with so much heart and talent.  Please come!

    On Monday, January 8th, MA State Representative Solomon Goldstein- Rose[ARHS '12] will hold his monthly office hours here at ARHS. His interest is to meet with his constituents and listen to their concerns. 

    Representative Goldstein-Rose will be based in the guidance office from 7:45 - 8:45 am. If you have a study hall, you may request a pass from your teacher to stop by and speak to Representative Goldstein-Rose.

    ARHS's annual Cabaret is this weekend, featuring many of your friends in fun skits and small group acts! The performances will be Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:00. Tickets are $5 for students and staff and $10 for adults. Desserts will be served. Come out to support the choral program in one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! Tickets will be sold at all lunches and at the door.

    This New Year, do something you never imagined you'd do.  That's right:  join the ARHS musical.  You can still join the cast or crew and you don't need to know the tiniest thing about anything to be qualified for all of it.  Monday, 3:00, auditorium.

    Today will be the first meeting of the Survival Living class. Snacks will be provided! Please come to room 225 between 2:30 and 3 to learn more about Survival Living. From 3 to 4 we will go over the gear that you will need. This will be an indoor class. Next week we start outdoor classes. Speak to Mr. Kropf if you have any questions about Survival Living.

    Cash donations began coming in towards Puerto Rico's hurricane relief efforts.on Sundayy12-17, we collected $278! This money will translate into 5.5 water filters, which will provide clean, drinkable water to over 5 families. Thanks to Shaw, Tracy and the conjunto members who worked at the event. 
    By helping folks access clean water, we are directly impacting their health: Water is life!
