JETS Club:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Students interested in a Fun and Challenging Engineering Competition: Its time to start organizing the TEAM+S Competition. Everyone wanting to compete should come by room 223 after school to sign up. Signups closing Wednesday... don't wait!
Interested in environmental issues? Come to the library this Friday, Dec. 1st at 3:00 for a presentation by a guest speaker from Climate Action Now. Our speaker will inform us about a Carbon Tax proposal, and the presentation will be followed by a discussion about these pressing matters! Questions? Contact Sarah Lee or Alexia Dassatti.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR SENIORS: December 4th is the deadline to list schools in Naviance for January 1st college deadlines. Also, before your materials can be submitted, you must:
- Meet with your counselor (if you have not already done so) regarding your recommendation letter
- Request that a transcript be sent to each school in Naviance
- List any Common App schools in your Common Application
- Complete your Common App FERPA Waiver
- Match your Common App and Naviance accounts

Seniors:
Cap & Gown measurements will take place next Thursday and Friday, December 7 & 8 during all lunch periods in room 161 at ARHS. University Cap & Gown is the company that provides this service and this is the only time they will be on site this year. The cost is $17.00, payable when measured, for a souvenir outfit that includes a cap, gown and tassel which the student keeps. Don’t forget to get measured.

ARHS 3rd French/Francophone Dinner: The deadline to purchase your ticket for the French dinner is -Friday, December 1st!
Come enjoy a night of exciting cultural experience and delicious French cuisine presented by the ARHS French and Culinary Arts students. The cultural show will include students’ research presentations, art exhibits, skits, folk tale presentations, music, singing, dancing, poetry, trivia, a raffle, a fashion show and the yummy menu will include Vegetable Terrine and Salmon Terrine with Green Mousse, Vegetarian Cassoulet and Chicken and lamb Cassoulet, Cheese and Chocolate Fondue, some Francophone African food samplings, a crêpe station and much more!

The ARHS Theater Company presents
Henry IV, Part 1! Come and see Shakespeare's swashbuckling classic about hot-headed nobles, drunken knights, disgraced princes, guilt-ridden kings, and one very weird Welsh wizard. Acted, crewed, directed, and produced by students, this play is entirely a product of your friends' hard work -- come on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 to see what they've been getting up to! Tickets on sale at lunch and at the door.

Have you seen the #MeToo display? On 11/20 (Monday) after school in room 115, join in a dialogue with other students about the campaign and harassment/assault in our community. The only way that these problems can begin to be solved is by addressing them, so come talk about the campaign and be part of the solution! All are welcome, male-identifying students are especially encouraged to join in the discussion. Also, local and national resources to help survivors with harassment and assault are available next to the display and in the guidance office.
