Special Lunch Update! We're excited to offer all students a special bag lunch to Today and tomorrow (Friday) for the half-day exam days. We will have freshly made Bruegger's bagels lunch packs in the cafeteria for all students to pickup at various points in the day. Stop by the cafeteria during normal breakfast hours, in between exam periods from 9:45 - 9:55, or at the end of the day to pickup your freshly made Bruegger's Bagels lunch pack for the same $3.00 price as a regular meal. Bag lunch price is the same as our regular lunch, including the discounts for free and reduced lunch.

Seniors - if you're applying to any local community colleges, be sure to sign up on Mrs. Cappelli's desk in the Guidance Office for a time to meet the reps from HCC, GCC and STCC.

Seniors - Representatives from community colleges are coming soon to ARHS for Decision Days. If you are considering attending STCC, HCC or GCC, sign up for a time slot to meet with the Admissions counselor who will be here. Be sure to complete the online, free, no essay application before your appointment, and add the college(s) to your Naviance account. You will leave as an accepted student with all of the information you will need. The schedule is: January 30 – STCC, February 6 – GCC, February 7 – HCC. See your counselor or Mrs. Cappelli in 101 or Mrs. Tracy in 309 if you need help.

Also, you will need to take the ACCUPLACER test which will be give here at ARHS on Thursday, Feb. 8th and again on Tuesday, Feb.13 at 2:30

Summer Leadership and Character Development Academy (SLCDA) for Sophomores and Juniors - 16-18 years of age; 3.0 GPA; have participated in athletic and service activities; perform well on Initial Strength Test; possess leadership traits; strong moral and ethical standards. Program is 6 days at Marine Corp Base Quantico, July 16-20. Application deadline April 1 at https://slcda.marines.com/

Now in our eighteenth year, our doors are open to high school students who wish to share their passion for story, drama, and song with their writerly brothers and sisters—and with celebrated New England authors. We offer three days of readings, improv, Moth storytelling, poetry slams, literary jazz/blues fusion, and extended friendship on the hillside campus of Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. Dance Showcase tonight (Friday Jan. 12) at 7:00 in the ARHS auditorium. Four sections of Introduction to Dance class (including the middle school) are joining together to share what they've been working on this semester. It's a free, feel-good, put a smile on your face event. Come and support ARHS Dance!
