Amherst College Dining Services is now hiring for various jobs during Commencement & Reunion, May 18 - May 27.  
If you are interested in applying, pick up an information packet in the Guidance Office which will tell you how to apply on line.  
There is a "Casual Worker Scheduling Document" to fill out and return to Amherst College ASAP. 
It's a fun way to earn some extra money for a few weeks. 
You must be age 16 or older by your first day of employment.

Students, the parking lot is overflowing with vehicles without parking permits so unfortunately we will begin towing this week. Retrieving a towed vehicle will cost approximately $125. A Parking Permit for the Spring Semester is $38. Please submit Parking Permit Applications at the Deans Office, room 168.

Spring sports have begun!!  All athletes need to keep their equipment; bats, balls, lacrosse sticks, etc... in their lockers during the school day.  If you have equipment that won't fit in a school locker, please see Mr. Ferro to make arrangements.

Please support Environmental Action Club in helping hurricane relief in Puerto Rico by donating new or used clothes, books, toys, accessories and other items to be sold at our upcoming Green Festival fundraiser. Donations can be put in the drop box outside of Guidance.

Greenfield Savings Bank is sponsoring an event at the Hitchcock Center to help replant their exterior areas. We would like to invite students from ARHS and their families and siblings to work alongside of us on two different community work days . The dates are March 31Saturday and April 22nd Sunday from 12-3pm.  There  will be a drawing to give away 4 family memberships to the Hitchcock Center. We will provide sandwiches and water and hats for the students to wear.

Do you like working with children and being outside? Farm and Garden Camp in Amherst is looking for Counselors in Training to work at their fun and exciting Farm and Garden camp this summer. This is a paid position for students ages 15-18. Information on the positions and how to apply can be found in the guidance office Job Book next to Ms. Cappelli's desk.

BU will host the Summer Pathways program July 13-20, 2018.  This is an exciting seven-day, residential program for high school girls entering their junior or senior year in September 2018.  The program targets girls from Massachusetts high schools who show promise and/or interest in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).  Tuition is $675 and includes room, board, all travel and activities.
