"We're excited to have Chef Sam back with us today. This time he'll be cooking and sampling Chicken Banh Mi sandwiches, which merge traditional French and Vietnamese flavors and is cooked with fresh ginger, garlic, soy sauce and lime juice. It is served on a toasted grinder roll, and top it all off with spicy mayo and lightly pickled cole slaw on the side. Try a sample of it today in the cafeteria!"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There will be an informational Swimming/Diving meeting for new swimmers/divers.  If you are interested in joining the team, and making a splash with the Hurricane Swim Team stop by Room 117, @ 3 PM on Thursday, November 9th.

The Women’s Rights Club will continue providing space at lunch for people to participate in the #MeToo campaign. Come write down your story — these will be anonymously displayed around the school the following week. This is an opportunity to share your story and/or learn about the different forms that harassment takes.

Interested in learning more? Come to Women’s Rights Club after school on Monday in room 115 to hear some stories and discuss the campaign! Snacks provided, all are welcome.

Did you know that total cost of a menstrual period (sanitary products, Advil, etc.) runs up to $20,000 in a lifetime??
Women's Rights Club is running a TAMPON AND PAD drive all month! All donations will benefit the Amherst Survival Center so that hygiene products can be available to all that need it!
Look for the signs and boxes located around the school to donate what you can, starting on Thursday. Donations should be in sealed boxes or packages. Drive will be up until the end of the month.
We hope that this drive will bring more awareness to a natural part of human experience as well as an important public health need. Without periods, none of us would be here!
