  • IMPORTANT APPLICATION REMINDERS FOR SENIORS:  If you have early deadlines for your college applications, all of the following must be completed before we can submit your school materials:
1) Signed Lime Green "Release of Senior Application Materials" Form must be returned to the Guidance Office;
2) School(s) must be listed in Naviance (and in the Common App if a CA School).
3) Your Naviance and Common App accounts must be matched.
4) A transcript request for each school must be completed in Naviance.
5) Teachers writing for you must have been requested in Naviance.
6) Purple "Release of Score Information" form must be returned to Guidance.
7) You should have checked in with your counselor to see if they need to meet with you or need more information before writing your recommendation.

  • The Outdoor Program kicks off this week with a meeting after school in room 225 on Thursday 9/20. We will have information about a day hike on the Holyoke Range, and it will be the first "outdoor leadership" class of the year. All interested students should attend. Speak to Mr. Kropf if you have any questions.
  • AUDITIONS for Briefs, an evening of contemporary 10-minute plays, will be held this Monday and Tuesday after school in the Black Box.  This is the perfect show to audition for if you have a tight schedule but would still love to do theater this fall - schedules are flexible, with just a couple of rehearsals per week.  We'll need to cover approximately 30 roles, so your odds are pretty good, too!  No prep or experience needed - just show up, read a script and get a cookie.  Questions?  See Mr. Bechtold in the auditorium.
  • Students who have registered for the PSAT or are planning to register. Practice Tests are available on the College Board website. (This is your reminder to register. Deadline is October 1st, 2018. Exam is in school on October 10th, 2018 Cost is $16.00)
  • At the North Korea-U.S. summit this July, North Korean leader Kim Jun Un made headlines by bringing a peculiar bathroom item with him to Singapore. What did he bring? The first person to report the correct answer to Mr. Fricke, will win an exciting prize from ARHS Model UN. And, to delve into more fun and fascinating topics in global affairs, debate in a low stakes environment, attend overnight conferences, and join a great community, come to Model UN’s first meeting this Thursday at 3:00 in Mr Fricke’s room (323). Snacks! See you there!
