  • SENIORS! TODAY IS THE LAST DAY to submit your Senior Photos! Email them as a JPEG to Miss Garrity at garrityc@arps.org ASAP Superlative Nominations are OPEN. Check your email from Mr. Sadiq for the link to nominate your peers for categories such as "Life of the Party," "Broadway Bound,""Class PB&J," and more! Remember to consider all of your peers, not just the folks within your friend group!
  • ARHS's annual Cabaret is happening right after break, featuring many of your friends in fun skits and small group acts! The performances will be Friday, January 3rd and Saturday, January 4th at 7:30 and Sunday, January 5th at 2:00. Tickets are $5 for students and staff and $10 for adults. Desserts will be served. Come out to support the choral program in one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! 
  • There is a Schools For Africa bake sale today! The last bake sale of the decade! Make sure to check it out and it and grab a sweet treat!  
  • Seal of Biliteracy: Are you bilingual? Are you studying a foreign language? Are you a heritage speaker? If so, come to our first informational meeting on Tuesday, January 7 in room 135 (Mr Pedro Mendez's room) during all lunches. This will be an opportunity for students to get some info about the program and apply. The Seal of Biliteracy is an award that recognizes high school graduates who speak, listen, read and write proficiently in another language in addition to English with a seal on the diploma. There will be free pizza! Contact Ms Cissé if you have any questions.
  • FREE MONEY! Sign Up for FASFA Assistance Here at ARHS. We added a 2nd FAFSA Day!
  •   Get professional assistance from area college financial aid reps  to complete your FAFSA. Check your financial aid deadlines for your schools, they are coming up. Please fill the house     and make sure your a eligible for both need and merit based financial aid (note that some local   scholarships require FAFSA completion).

  • Attention Seniors:  If you applied ED to a college and received your application decision over the weekend, be sure to put the outcome in Naviance.  If you were accepted, please delete the other schools you have listed, and if you were deferred, waitlisted or denied, see Mrs. Tracy in room 309 or Ms. Garrity in Guidance ASAP to let them know if they should send out your remaining application materials- and don't forget to request transcripts!  --
