  • Now through January, Women's Rights Club will be raising money for the Polaris Project, an organization that supports survivors of human trafficking and works to systemically disrupts the human trafficking networks that rob human beings of their lives and their freedom. Our First Fundraising Event is the bake sale after school TODAY, so come on by learn more about the project! 
  • Seniors!! If you need help completing your FAFSA, support will be provided here on December 4 at 7:45  a.m.  Please sign up with Miss Garrity in Guidance if you are interested.  Ms. Garrity will give you a list of things you should bring.
  • There will be a Class of 2021 meeting Monday 12/3 at 3:00pm in room 117.
  • This year's Doctor for a Day program will be taking place on Monday, April 1st, 2019.  Selected students will have an opportunity to share the expertise of a physician mentor in the daily practice of medicine. This program is open to students in their junior or senior year who have a serious interest in becoming a physician and have a strong background in the sciences. Students who apply must clearly state their honest interest in being a doctor as one of their top choices for a profession.

  • Ushers are needed for the Amherst Town Council Inauguration Celebration this Sunday December 2nd in our Auditorium. We are looking for 8-10 ARHS students to help usher from 12:30-1:15, and another group of 8-10 ARHS students to help usher from 2:15-3:00. Students are welcome to stay for the entire event if they choose. This is a nice way to give back to the community and take part in this historic event. Please let Mr. Sadiq know, by email (sadiqt@arps.org) or in person (Room 207), if this is something you are interested in doing. Thank you
  • It's almost school musical season and - Tuck Everlasting - a new musical fresh off of Broadway - will be our show!  Info sheets are available on the auditorium doors.  Learn about December auditions, tech work, pit orchestra, dance, and the many other ways to be involved in this all-school endeavor. Absolutely 0% experience needed - hurray!  See Mr. Bechtold with questions.
  • Last week of collection - The NHS Suitcase Project - The NHS students are still collecting duffel bags and suitcases  and  much needed items to fill them with. Looking for: blankets, hygiene items, stuffed animals, coloring books, flashlights, baby supplies, night lights, pajamas, socks, journals, books and crayons.  Please drop off your donations at the athletic office with Ms. White by Wednesday this week.  THANK YOU!  Planning to stuff our bags at our December 6th meeting.
