During lunch students should plan to eat first before coming to the library as passes will not be issued to the cafeteria from the library. Thank you for helping to make sure the library is a welcoming study space for students!
  • The NHS Suitcase Project - The NHS students are hoping to stuff the donated bags and suitcases we've received with much needed items. Looking for: blankets, hygiene items, stuffed animals, coloring books, flashlights, baby supplies, night lights, pajamas, socks, journals, books and crayons.  Please drop off your donations at the athletic office with Ms. White.  THANK YOU!  Still excepting donations of suitcases and/or duffel bags.  Planning to stuff our bags at our December 6th meeting.  Still time to donate!!!
  • Reminder to seniors: You will have until Friday, November 16th to turn in senior portraits if you would like them in the yearbook! Email them to garrityc@arps.org or bring hard copies/USBs to Guidance! Photos must be standard portrait size, taken by yourself and showing your face, and must be appropriate.
  • MISSING APPLICATION DEADLINES:  Seniors, all colleges listed in Naviance must have a deadline indicated or be designated as having a "Rolling" application type.  Right now there are more than 70 colleges without deadline dates.  Please check your schools to see that this important piece of information is there.  If your school has been designated with "rolling" deadlines, we will try to process them with the January 1st applications, unless we hear from you that they need to be sent earlier.  If that is the case, please see Miss Garrity in Guidance or Ms. Tracy in room 309, who manually input a deadline date.  Schools listed with no deadline could result in late submission of your school materials.
  • IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR SENIORS:  On November 15, we will be sending S1 progress reports to colleges you are applying (or have applied) to that have November deadlines. Although most colleges, including UMass, require senior grades, some colleges will not require them in order to make a decision about you. If after investigating whether you are required to send your progress report to your college(s), you do not want us to send yours, see Miss Garrity before 8:00 a.m. on November 15, which is next Thursday. Please do not make this request before you have learned definitively that your senior grades will not be required.
  • The Theater Company is excited to present our annual production of Briefs - 10 short plays written by contemporary playwrights.  Directed and acted by students, you'll find everything from the serious to the utterly silly.  This Thursday-Saturday; $5 for students/staff.  Discounted tickets are available for students on free/reduced lunch; see Mr. Bechtold for details.
  • Are you an intermediate/expert skier or snowboarder? Do you want to learn to teach people with disabilities?  Join us on TODAY from 2:30-4:00pm to learn more about volunteering at Mount Snow this winter.  During this meeting, some volunteers, and the program director are coming down from Vermont to talk to us about Mount Snow Adaptive sports.  This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity that also offers free lift tickets.  If you are interested email Ms. Camera at cameras@arps.org and join us in room 312 on Thursday, Nov.15th
