The RESPECTfully campaign (www.mass.gov/respectfully), which is focused on promoting healthy relationships (and dating violence prevention), is re-establishing it's youth advisory group to help inform the next phase of the campaign (new animated videos and social media content). They are currently seeking young men of color (15-18) to join the group. This is a paid workgroup. This flyer contains more information about the engagement, existing campaign content, and contact information. The first group meeting is scheduled for next Friday, 12/11 at 7pm. It's a collaborative publication with Forbes and Lilly libraries about climate justice—in conjunction with the UMass Feinberg Lecture Series. Organizers are looking for submissions of essays, art, or a combination from students for a zine that speaks to how they envision their future. Menstrual products are often overlooked as one of the most-requested donations for homeless shelters nationwide, and in past years, the ARHS Women’s Rights Club has held a Pad and Tampon Drive to benefit the Amherst Survival Center. This year, to avoid the health risk of collecting physical donations in-person, the club has coordinated with the Center to host an online fundraiser.
