  • Help people stay warm this winter! The Class of 2024 has set up a box at Provisions (113 Cowls Road, North Amherst, MA) to collect usable coats, hats, mittens, or any other items to help people stay warm. These items will be dropped off at the Amherst Survival Center, an organization that provides resources for people experiencing homelessness. During the coronavirus pandemic, it is really important that we try to help those who need it, especially during this harsh winter. Please lend a hand to families in our town by donating one or more winter items to our drop-off box. The community needs your help!

  • If you completed an ALP in the first semester we want to hear from you.  Please write a short summary (approximately a paragraph) of your work and (if possible) include a picture--we would love to share it with the school community.  Attached you will find a folder that you can drop these summaries in. We will try to publish the newsletter next week. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1qXvA-iPv7-5F9piVIdkMNUNs087H8G94?usp=sharing

  • Class of 2022 -
    If you have not received a couple of emails from Your Friendly Neighborhood College and Career Advisor, Ms. Cuffee-Gray, it is likely that your Naviance emails are heading straight to your spam folder. In a reality that is incredibly frustrating and inefficient, the @arps.org system designates Naviance as SPAM. You need to go into your email settings and designate emails from Naviance as something you want to receive. This is called "whitelisting" (why is it "whitelisting" and "blacklisting"? hmmmm...), and you'll begin receiving all my little love notes about preparing for Life After ARHS. Cheers - Ms. DCG

    On another note, it seems I misdirected juniors regarding the 54/22 question survey that is required of you to set up a meeting with me. Not a mean trick, just a mistake.
    Here's what you should do:
    1. Go to "About Me" in your Naviance account (upper right tab);
    2. The dropdown list there has "My Surveys"
    3. Choose what is appropriate for you

    That should take care of it.
