  • Students interested in playing for the Amherst Baseball team pre-season meeting will be Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 3:00pm in room 112.
  • Are you a Junior or Senior who may be interested in attending Greenfield Community College and want to know more? If so, we are taking a field trip to tour the campus and learn about admissions, services, programs, etc. The trip will take place on Friday, 2/14/20 in the morning. You will be back in time for 3rd lunch. Permission slips can be picked up in the guidance office and need to be returned to Ms. Garrity in Guidance by next FRIDAY, JANUARY 31ST, THE LATEST.
  • Women's Rights Club is running a snack fundraiser to raise money for Tapestry Health in Northampton! This clinic provides services that promote sexual health, overdose prevention, and community wellness to teens and adults in our area regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation or income. We will be selling fruit snacks, rice krispie treats, oreo packs, and hershey bars. Look out for students carrying pink bags to buy a school snack that benefits Tapestry!
  • Reminder to Sene-Gambian Scholars: We will meet this evening from 5:30 to 7:30 in Room 135. Please remember to bring your folders, passports, and photos.
  • The library is closed to all students during the academic school day for the first three days of the semester. The library will reopen to students with passes on Friday, January 24th, and will be available before and after school until then. As a reminder, all students coming to the library from a Directed Study are expected to have a pass signed by both an academic teacher and their Directed Study teacher, and to come prepared to work on an academic assignment. Please feel free to speak to Ms. Stocker in the library with any questions.
  • Do you sing or play drums? Are you interested in joining a band? Nakos Maroudas's band, Defcon: Dead,  is in need of a drummer and a shrieker. If you are a thrash-head or play the aforementioned instruments, email maroudasna@arps.org for details.
  • Seniors. Please take time (15 minutes MAX) to note your college decisions in Naviance - Admit, Defer, waitlist, Deny, etc. Also, know that the folks on the College Planning Team are here to support you. Your Friendly Neighborhood College and Career Counselor - Deidre Cuffee-Gray
  • “Science Olympiad Team! If you are going to any invitationals, especially MIT, make sure you are at the meeting on Tuesday for logistics and forms!”
