  • Senior Transcript Requests -The announced deadline for transcript requests in Naviance IS ONLY for Early Decision and Early Action applications. Please consult the calendar in the back of the College Planning Handbook for additional opportunities and deadlines. Generally, transcript and recommendation request deadlines are three weeks prior to the deadline.
    A message outlining the Early Decision/Early Action Deadline was sent via Naviance. Please check your Naviance and email accounts regularly as you will hear from the Guidance Office and colleges you are applying to in this manner.

  • ARHS Theater Company presents Bing Bong!  October 23-26 - an immersive theater production designed for only one person at a time.  Tickets will sell out fast, and go on sale TODAY at 3pm.  You do not need money up front to sign up for the show.  Look for the ticket link on the Performing Arts web page, available via the ARHS website or bit.ly/arps-pa.  Get 'em now before they're gone!
  • The time to register for AP Exams is here. The final deadline, without incurring a $40 late registration fee from the CollegeBoard is November 15th. The full cost of each AP Exam is $94, and the reduced fee is $53. To register for an AP Exam, please bring a check made out to ARHS, or cash to Room 207 by November 11th, we need time to process the orders before the final deadline. It is important to know that after November 15th, the CollegeBoard also charges a $40 cancelation fee if you change your mind about taking the AP Exam you registered for. Please contact Mr. Sadiq if you have any questions.

The winner and three finalists will read their poems at the Judge’s reading at Smith College on April 14, 2020.In addition to the cash prize of $500 awarded to the winner, she and the three finalists will receive a signed copy of a book of poems by the judge. See Ms. Blauner in Room 223 after school for more information about an all-day field trip on Monday October 24 to attend UMass Amherst's  "Women in Engineering and Computing Career Day for High School Girls.

  • Women's Rights Club meeting TODAY at 2:30 pm in room 166! Help us make posters for our Pad and Tampon Drive. Snacks included, and newcomers are always welcome!
  • Amherst Girls Basketball Organizational meeting will be thisThursday, October 3, 2019 at 6 pm at the High School.
  • Students interested in serving on a newly-formed Student Advisory Council should attend an informational meeting on Thursday, October 3rd at 2:45 in room 239.  The Student Advisory Council will meet monthly with school administrators to discuss school policies and issues that affect our school community.  We need representatives from all grade levels.  If you have questions, please see Mr. Thompson or Ms. Haygood.
  • There's still time to register for the PSAT test, but the deadline is on Wednesday October 2nd.   • The Sene-Gambian Scholars Program will meeting on Tuesday, October 1, at 2:30 in Room 147. Agenda items will include fall field trips to Harlem and to an African play at UMass. New members are welcome.
