  • The first meeting of the Student Union will be today after school in Ms. Iverson's room (169). There will be snacks! Bring a friend and some ideas of activities for this fall- stop Hanna Hartman or Sarah Tepfer in the hall with any questions
  • Attention all Seniors: Student Council is hoping to begin the process of designing and ordering senior T-shirts.  We ask that anyone interested in designing the Class of 2020 senior shirt send their design to Aarti Lamberg (lambergac@arps.org) or Walter Tebbetts (tebbettswt@arps.org) by Friday October 18th.  (Contact Aarti or Walter with questions.)
  • Today is Pineapple Upside Down Cake Day. Please support the POCU Bake Sale afterschool
  • On October 3rd & 4th students from Australia will be shadowing some of our ARHS students. If you have any contact with our visitors, in class, the hallway, cafeteria, etc... please introduce yourself and make them feel welcome in the ARHS community. Thanks
  • Students interested in playing for the Amherst Girls Basketball team pre-season meeting will be this Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 2:30pm in room 135
  • Students interested in playing for the Amherst Boys Basketball team pre-season meeting will be this Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 2:30pm in room 112
  • There's still time to register for the PSAT test, but the deadline is today. The test will be administered here at ARHS on Wednesday October 16th.  The cost for the 2019-20 test is $17.  Juniors who receive free/reduced lunch do receive fee waivers. Students can register in either room 309 or 207 (checks payable to ARHS). IF YOU ARE PAYING IN CASH, PLEASE BRING THE EXACT AMOUNT--WE DO NOT HAVE CHANGE.  Contact Mr. Sadiq if you have any questions.

    Seniors and their parents and guardians are invited to attend a Financial Aid Workshop sponsored by MEFA. Financial Aid Officers from UMass Amherst and Smith College will join us to discuss the ins and outs of the financial aid process.

  • Girls: Do you like to help people and make the world a better place by solving problems and creating new things? Are you interested in learning more about fun and well paying careers in Engineering and Computer Science? See Ms. Blauner in Room 223 after school for more information about an all-day field trip on Monday October 24 to attend UMass Amherst's  "Women in Engineering and Computing Career Day for High School Girls.
