  • Women's Rights Club meeting TODAY at 2:30 pm in room 166! Help us make posters for our Pad and Tampon Drive. Snacks included, and newcomers are always welcome!
  • Amherst Girls Basketball Organizational meeting will be thisThursday, October 3, 2019 at 6 pm at the High School.
  • Students interested in serving on a newly-formed Student Advisory Council should attend an informational meeting on Thursday, October 3rd at 2:45 in room 239.  The Student Advisory Council will meet monthly with school administrators to discuss school policies and issues that affect our school community.  We need representatives from all grade levels.  If you have questions, please see Mr. Thompson or Ms. Haygood.
  • There's still time to register for the PSAT test, but the deadline is on Wednesday October 2nd. The test will be administered here at ARHS on Wednesday October 16th.  The cost for the 2019-20 test is $17.  Juniors who receive free/reduced lunch do receive fee waivers. Students can register in either room 309 or 207 (checks payable to ARHS). IF YOU ARE PAYING IN CASH, PLEASE BRING THE EXACT AMOUNT--WE DO NOT HAVE CHANGE.  Contact Mr. Sadiq if you have any questions. 
  • The Sene-Gambian Scholars Program will meeting on Tuesday, October 1, at 2:30 in Room 147. Agenda items will include fall field trips to Harlem and to an African play at UMass. New members are welcome.
  • Girls: Do you like to help people and make the world a better place by solving problems and creating new things? Are you interested in learning more about fun and well paying careers in Engineering and Computer Science? See Ms. Blauner in Room 223 after school for more information about an all-day field trip on Monday October 24 to attend UMass Amherst's  "Women in Engineering and Computing Career Day for High School Girls
  • College Affordability is Important! Join Us on October 2nd 7:00-8:30 ARHS Library
    Seniors and their parents and guardians are invited to attend a Financial Aid Workshop sponsored by MEFA. Financial Aid Officers from UMass Amherst and Smith College will join us to discuss the ins and outs of the financial aid process.
