    Day 7
    D Period Lunch
    Drop F

  • Are you a sophomore or junior interested in perusing a STEM degree?  Then the UMASS Shadow Day might be for you.  Attend a free dinner on March 26th where you will hear presentations from UMASS STEM students.  Then visit UMASS on April 3rd, attend classes, visit STEM labs and get a free lunch!   See your science teacher for more information and a permission slip.  Permission slips should be turned into Mr. Woodruff in room 227.  Space is limited and students will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
  • Reminder - Spring Strength & Conditioning starts April 1st. Please sign up through FamilyID before the end of the month if you'd like to participate in this after school program.  Check in with the health room to see about your eligibility to participate.  Don't forget to take care of the participation fee for this program.

  • IMPORTANT MCAS INFORMATION: On Tuesday, March 26, and Thursday, March 28, all ARHS 10th Graders will take the MCAS Next Generation English Language Arts tests.  The tests will begin promptly at 7:45 a.m. on both days.  Students not participating in MCAS will have late arrival at 10:45 a.m. on testing days. There will be no access to the 3rd floor during testing time.  Special information for 10th grade students:  This year, for the first time, the high school will be participating in Next Generation MCAS on-line testing.  This testing app is only accessible on school-owned chrome books.  Each student is responsible to bring a fully charged, school-provided chrome book and charger with them on both days of testing.   If you who have not been assigned a chrome book (because you chose to use your personal computer), you are responsible to check-out a school device from the Writing Center (room 141) no later than the end of the school day on Friday, March 22.  A test room list is posted on the bulletin board in the front lobby today.  Check this list to find out in which classroom you will be testing.  It is very important that you arrive on time on testing days and report directly to your assigned room.  You may bring school work or books in a subject area other than English to work on after you have completed and handed in your testing materials.  Remember: be sure to get a good night’s rest, and eat a healthy breakfast each morning!
