  • Interested in auditioning for Chorale or Hurricane Singers next year? Sign up for an audition time outside of the choir room. It’s low stress and requires no preparation! There are times available after school on Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26. See Mr. Fruth for more details.
  • Important registration information. Only a small number of students enrolled in the English course called World Literature: Colonialism, Liberation, and Rebirth. This exciting course examines modern and contemporary literature from the African continent is co-taught by an ARHS teacher and a college professor! For those who are planning to go on the Senegambian exchange next year, you should enroll. But ALL interested students are encouraged to sign up for this wonderful class! If it is under-enrolled, it will not be offered.Please speak to your guidance counselors if you'd like to add this course to your schedule
  • The April 10 field trip to visit GCC has been changed to Wednesday, April 3.  If you are interested in attending GCC, it is important for you to go.  Please sign up and get your permissions slip from Miss Garrity in Guidance ASAP, like today!
  • Holyoke Community College is hosting a special open house event for prospective students on the Autism Spectrum, along with their parents and other support persons. This event will include a student panel, an activity for prospective students led by HCC students, a session for parents and high school staff, and a campus tour. The event is April 4th from 3:30-6:30 in the Kittredge Building at HCC. RSVP online at hcc.edu/SASopen house by March 28th
  • CORRECTION to previous announcement about the ASVAB test! Wednesday, March 27th is an early release day, so the test will run from 12:30-3:00pm, NOT 2:30-5. We apologize for the misinformation. Reminder to all students that the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Career Exploration Program can help determine careers that are right for you, as well as help determine which sectors of the armed forces you qualify for. Come hear FiveThirtyEight’s Senior Political Writer Clare Malone talk at Amherst College’s Stirn Auditorium on Tuesday, March 26th at 8 pm.
