  • Work at your local National Wildlife Refuge this summer! Northwoods Stewardship Center is seeking crew members for the Silvio O'Conte National Wildlife Refuge Fort River Division. Crew members must be willing to meet the mental and physical challenges of working outdoors by demonstrating maturity, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic. A commitment to the environment and to their local communities is essential. Members will receive a weekly wage of $12/hour, plus hands-on education and employment experience. Must be 14-18 to apply!   • There is a lot of cool school apparel for sale at the school store: We still have leftover Canes for The Cure shirts to support cancer care patients, and we also have newly reduced prices for athletic apparel. Come Check It Out!
  • This week, U Mass Amherst has a new major: Informatics. It is all about applying computing to solve problems in the real world. Come this Tomorrow at 3 pm, room 143 to hear Dr. Sitaraman, U Mass Computer Science professor. He will tell us about the major and the career paths it can lead to. Contact Mr. Young for more info.
  • All athletes and ANYONE else who is interested in joining a group of your fellow students to raise funds to improve the quality of our weight-room, there will be a meeting Tomorrow (3/14) at 3:00 in Room 112.   • ***STCC and HCC*** field trip for Juniors and Seniors that was scheduled for Monday 3/4, has been re-scheduled to Monday, March 18. You will need to have a new permission slip signed, so please stop by guidance to grab one and turn in to guidance ASAP! Pizza will be served when we arrive to HCC, so please bring a cold lunch if you don't want pizza. Any questions please e-mail cartwrightc@arps.org
  • Important Class Credit Information! If you have exceeded the absence limit in any class, you must schedule an attendance meeting. This can be done by seeing Ms. Susie Zygmont in the Dean’s Office (Room 168). Failure to schedule an attendance meeting will result in a loss of credit for the classes in which you have more than 9 absences. Note that every three tardies equals one absence, so if you are habitually tardy, this can quickly bring your absences over the limit. Do not wait, schedule this meeting ASAP if this pertains to you since there are limited appointment times available this semester.

  • Attention all male identifying students! The Schools for Africa Man Pageant is happening soon! The Man Pageant is a talent show that Schools for Africa puts on every year to raise money to build schools in Cameroon, so far we have built 2 schools and a water system. Any and all talents are welcome, from reading a children's story on stage to singing! The auditions will be held Tomorrow, Thursday, March 14th in room 147 (Ms Cisse's room) at 2:45 p.m. Please come by and show us what you got! There will be snacks!
