- A reminder to students taking AP exams.TUESDAY, April 9th at 2:20 in the Cafeteria. Mandatory pre-administration session for all test-takers. Bring your student ID#, which you use in the library or in the cafeteria. Be on time, listen well, and with your cooperation, we'll have you out in time for sports at 3:00.
- Attention Juniors! On Saturday, April 13th the class of 2020 Student Council has arranged to volunteer at the Western Mass Food Bank. It would be just a few hours of volunteer work that morning and is a great opportunity to participate in community service work. (You could even put it on your college application)! There are only a few spots, so if you are at all interested in this wonderful opportunity please contact Aarti Lamberg (Lambergac@arps.org) for more information.
- It's the best time of the year - time to AUDITION for the 34th Annual Student Written Play Festival! We had over 100 submissions this year for 10 and 1-minute plays - and can promise some exciting roles, all written by your peers. Show up Monday or Tuesday after school for a 5-minute, painless audition that includes a cookie at the end as a thank-you for coming out. No experience necessary - we want you here!

- The Amherst College Dining Services is hiring for various jobs during their Commencement and Reunion weekends! Must be 16 or older. Pick up a form in Guidance for how to apply.
- Pick up the newest issue of our school newspaper--The Graphic--outside the lunch room or in the library! : ) It covers a lot: workshops to combat anti-Semitism, the new computerized MCAS, Grinspoon award winners, our recent ADA/accessibility study, the musical, a feature on our single snow day, great club news, deep sports coverage, and some brave opinion pieces about gun laws and climate change. - UMass Amherst is offering a four week program designed for high school students on computer science at no charge to local students. Learn about concepts in sensing, AI, visualization and Python and Android Apps. Come into the guidance office to pick up a flyer with the website and email associated with this exciting program!
- Juniors: TODAY April 5, is the last day to register for the May 4 SAT with no late fee. Go to collegeboard.org to register. If you qualify for a fee waiver,see Miss Garrity in Guidance
