  • AP Chinese Exam -- A practice session will be in Rm 144 at the close of school today only. This is not mandatory, but is encouraged to ensure a smooth administration of the exam. It is a chance to become familiar with the format of the test. Please come. 
  • Reminder to Step Up Day Tour Guides  A meeting will happen today, Tuesday 4/23, at the close of school in Rm 202 with Mr. Sadiq.  Please come if you can. If not, you must attend on Thursday (same time and place).  The meeting will be between 15 and 30 minutes long.
  • If you are performing or interested in performing at comedy night on May 10th come to the Black Box after school at 2:30.
  • Thinking about a career in sports journalism or sports management? UMass Sports Journalism and Sports Management programs are co-hosting an all-day conference at UMass this Friday, 4/26. ARHS school students are invited/encouraged to attend. Please see Ms. Barber-Just with questions in room 172 or email her at barber-justs@arps.org
  • This has been an outstanding year for Amherst Regional High School’s JETS Engineering Club. The club entered 6 teams (45 students, grades 9-12) into the national Test of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science (TEAM+S) and won Best in State at both the 9th/10th grade and 11th/12th grade level.  Our top finishing 11th/12th grade team also finished 1st Nationally in our division. Team members include juniors Chang Jin, Naomi Johnson, Levi Blinder, Mohan Setty-Charity, Nadav Benhamou Goldfaja, Ben Fang, Innis Gallagher, and senior Christina Lee . Our top finishing 9th/10th grade team also finished 4th Nationally in our division. Team members include 10th graders Rohini Narayanan, Seo-Ho Lee, Sammy Conrad-Rooney, Noah Saxenian, Allison Brau, Shreya Venkataraman, Sierra Triozzi, and Mariam Ahmed.   • Westfield State Univsity is offering a Summer Institute for SAT Prep! It will include 20 hours of instruction, plus books and access to online review sessions. Cost for this 4-day course is $499. You can apply online at www.westfield.ma.edu/testprep.
