  • The Environmental Action Club will have its first meeting  Thursday 26th (today)! If you're interested in being involved with the school's efforts to reduce our environmental impact, or you're just curious to see what it's all about, stop by in room 237. There will be snacks!
  • There's still time to register for the PSAT test, but the deadline is on Wednesday October 2nd. The test will be administered here at ARHS on Wednesday October 16th.  The cost for the 2019-20 test is $17.  Juniors who receive free/reduced lunch do receive fee waivers. Students can register in either room 309 or 207 (checks payable to ARHS). IF YOU ARE PAYING IN CASH, PLEASE BRING THE EXACT AMOUNT--WE DO NOT HAVE CHANGE.  Contact Mr. Sadiq if you have any questions.   •  THE HOMECOMING DANCE IS BACKTickets are now $5 during lunch and $8 at the door! Show your school spirit by joining us on Saturday night, September 28th from 7-10 PM at the high school.   • The first meeting of Model UN is this week! Whether you’ve come 50 times or this will be your first, join us for snacks and a STRESS-FREE (seriously)  discussion about what we will be doing this year.   • 20/20 College Vision - Get Clear About College!
    · 9/26 Admissions Professional Panel 7:00-8:30 HS Library. Light refreshments.
    Hear about the admissions process from experts in the field. Holyoke Community College, Greenfield Community College, Smith College, Trinity College, UMass Amherst admissions officers and financial advisors from Springfield Promise and UMass will be present.
    · 10/2  ARHS Financial Aid MEFA presentation from Financial Aid Officers from UMass Amherst and Smith College. 7:00-8:30 ARHS library.
    · 10/7  Essay Day. Seniors sign up for college essay support from Amherst College students. 30 minute slots during the school day. See Crystal Garrity in the Guidance Office to sign up.
    · 10/9 NCAA Eligibility Conversation. Join Victoria Stewart, ARHS Athletic Director and panel of college coaches and athletic directors to learn about being a scholar athlete during your college years.
