  • Join the International Students Club for a meeting TODAY! We'll be planning for future events and running an activity about water--we can't tell you more or we'll ruin the surprise! Meet at 2:30 in the library (don't worry we'll be done before practices). We will have fall themed snacks.
  • Class of 2021 is having it's first bake sale this Thursday(10/17). Please come and support and buy some goodies.
  • Class of 2021 is having its next meeting Monday(10/21) @ 2:30 in room 117.
  • The Sene-Gambian Scholars club will hold an informational meeting for students and parents about the spring trip to West Africa TODAY at 6 p.m. in the library. Come and learn more about this life-changing experience.
  • If you are taking the Math Olympiad, please report to room 301 at the beginning of A block on Thursday, 10/17/19.
  • Student Advisory Council will meet on Friday, October 18th at 2:45 in room 239.  If you can't make it, please check in with Mr. Thompson.
  • "Not School Sponsored": Do you want to be a part of the national youth movement taking action against climate change? Join the Amherst Sunrise Strike Circle! Strike Circles are small groups that meet weekly to learn, plan, and recruit for the upcoming strike for climate action. To join, go to bit.ly/amherst-strike-circle. We hope to see you soon!   • Senior Transcript Requests -The announced deadline for transcript requests in Naviance IS ONLY for Early Decision and Early Action applications. Please consult the calendar in the back of the College Planning Handbook for additional opportunities and deadlines. Generally, transcript and recommendation request deadlines are three weeks prior to the deadline.
    A message outlining the Early Decision/Early Action Deadline was sent via Naviance. Please check your Naviance and email accounts regularly as you will hear from the Guidance Office and colleges you are applying to in this manner.

  • The time to register for AP Exams is here. The final deadline, without incurring a $40 late registration fee from the CollegeBoard is November 15th. The full cost of each AP Exam is $94, and the reduced fee is $53. To register for an AP Exam, please bring a check made out to ARHS, or cash to Room 207 by November 11th, we need time to process the orders before the final deadline. It is important to know that after November 15th, the CollegeBoard also charges a $40 cancelation fee if you change your mind about taking the AP Exam you registered for. Please contact Mr. Sadiq if you have any questions. 
  • The Minks submissions box is open for the year to all ARHS students! If you’re interested in getting published in the official ARHS literary magazine, email your writing to minks@arps.org. All student writing is accepted!
  • Are you interested in the National Guard? Representatives will be available Thursday, October 17th after school in Guidance at 2:30!
