Wednesday Day 3
Drop B
F-period lunch

  • A last few tickets remain for Bing Bong!  - an original immersive play by the ARHS Theater Company.  If you've ever wondered what it would be like to live over 20 lives in a little under an hour, this is for you!  It's uplifting, goofy, serious, and absurd - and all for one person at a time.  Tickets are found online at bit.ly/arps-pa or the Performing Arts webpage via the ARHS website.  $5 for students/staff - this Wednesday-Saturday.
  • Nordic skiing informational meeting- Thursday (10/31) after school at the high school in room 225 at 2:40.  Come hear what this exciting sport is all about. In addition, John Morton, former Olympian and World Cup Biathlete, will be giving a talk in the high school library on November 7th at 7pm, mark your calendars!
  • “This year's Minks Halloween prompt is... six word horror stories! Try to write a spooky story in just six words or fewer, like “I just saw my reflection blink”, or “nobody here hired that birthday clown”. Make them scary or funny, and email them to minks@arps.org.”
  • What better way to enjoy Spooky Season than with ghouls, ghosts, and goblins? Come join Dungeons & Dragons club, and play the oldest role-playing game out there! No experience or equipment necessary--all you need is an active imagination. Our first session will be on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 2:30 to 3:45 in room 302. If you are interested in running your very own game, or you have other questions, please email Mr. Lariviere-Werner at larivierewernera@arps.org
  • Want to make a difference? Do you think the tech professions should have more women and people of color? The place to start is in our own school. The time to start is this Thursday, 2:30 in room 202. Mr. Young is organizing the production of a video promoting diversity in our tech classes, but the ideas, acting, and video production will be coming from the minds of you, the ARHS students. We hope to do it all in just four meetings. We need as many students, of all types, as possible.
  • This year's yearbook theme is The 2000s! Throw it back to your childhood- the colors, the games, the movies, the celebs that molded our generation! We want to encourage folks to dress for Halloween as your favorite 2000s celebrity or character, or to wear your favorite 2000s outfit!
  • Remember that yearbooks are available for pre-order online at arps.picaboo.com! If you are a student on free/reduced lunch who wants a reduced price yearbook, email Miss Garrity (garrityc@arps.org) to get your coupon code. The deadline for applying for a coupon code is NOVEMBER 1ST!
