      •  Interested in learning about the hidden powers of trolls and memes? Join Critical Connections on Tuesday from 7-9 at the Bangs Center to hear from Dr. Whitney Phillips about the use of social media by the growing white supremacy movement.  This discussion is incredibly relevant, especially to our generation. Contact Hanna Hartman or Ms. Camera for more information.
      • Singers of all types are invited to perform in this year's Cabaret, an evening of skits, duets and small group musical performances! There will be an information session at 2:30 on Thursday, November 21st in the choir room. If you're interested in participating but can't make the meeting, please e-mail or talk to Mr. Fruth before Thanksgiving break.
      • Not school sponsored: Want to learn about the climate crisis and the climate strike in Springfield on Dec. 6th? Stop by the table during lunch today to sign up for or discuss the strike, as well as learn about one of the drivers of the climate fight, a national youth-led movement called Sunrise Movement.
      • Do you like metal music? Do you play an instrument? Are you looking to join a band? If you play electric guitar/bass, drums, or can sing in the style of thrash metal/hardcore punk, contact Nakos Maroudas-- maroudasna@arps.org --to audition. Our band is called Defcon: Dead, and we could use a few more musicians to help bring thrash back to Hurricane Nation!
      • Are you daydreaming of summer on these cold November days? Consider becoming a lifeguard for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation for the summer of 2020! Must be 16 years of age by June and be able to complete lifeguard training and CRP/First Aid training. Lifeguard positions are 40 hours a week, $15/hour from June 26th-Labor Day. Information available in Guidance.
      • Looking to make a difference? Want to tackle and understand the different social issues that are challenging our community today?
