  • As you may or may not know, a member of our ARHS family lost their home and all belongings in a recent fire. We would like to extend a helping hand. Although we are asking for a monetary donation of $1.00 from each student, every penny will help. Please stop by during lunch at the cafeteria on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • The Theater Company is excited to present Briefs - a series of contemporary 10-minute plays directed and acted by ARHS students.  If you like performances that are short, sweet, and always surprising, come by ARHS this Thursday-Saturday for a 7:30 show..  Tickets are $5 for students and staff; free/reduced lunch tickets are available by request to Mr. Bechtold.  Seats are first-come, first-served.  See you there!
  • Attention, Sene-Gambian Scholars: This is a reminder that we will be meeting right after school TODAY in Room 147. It's essential that all members attend to turn in take-out meal orders and to plan for cooking on Thursday and Friday.  
  • Attention Seniors - Important College Transcript Information: Your first semester progress report grades will now be part of the transcript we are sending to colleges.  If there is an error on your progress report, please see Mrs. Tracy in room 309 or Ms. Garrity in Guidance no later than the end of the school day today.


  • The newest issue of The Graphic is online!http://thegraphic.arps.org/  Please check out the many new teacher/staff features, and stories about climate action, e-buses, a coffee delivery service run by PIP students, our new math curriculum, impeachment opinions, poetry workshops, the Spanish/English kindergarten, clubs, sports, food, and much much more! Paper copies will be delivered Friday; you can pick one up outside of the library or in the staff mailroom.
    • SENIORS! November 15th is the next application deadline: (you should submit recommendation and transcript requests three weeks prior to your deadlines.If you have any questions about your recommendations for teachers and/or transcripts for the Guidance Team, please interact with grace and aplomb. & BREATHE FREE MONEY FOR COLLEGE - check your Naviance messages for links to scholarships.

    • What rhymes with shake and is really delicious? That's right! You guessed it... CAKE!! It's time to get together with your friends, family, teammates, (really anyone you want), and bake a cake for this years cake auction! On November 14th during E period lunch, each cake's highest bidder gets to take home and enjoy the culinary masterpiece.     • Looking to make a difference? Want to tackle and understand the different social issues that are challenging our community today?
