  • Calling all current and potential National Honor Society members. There will be a meeting this Friday 11/8 in room 117 at 2:30.   • The newest issue of The Graphic is online!http://thegraphic.arps.org/  Please check out the many new teacher/staff features, and stories about climate action, e-buses, a coffee delivery service run by PIP students, our new math curriculum, impeachment opinions, poetry workshops, the Spanish/English kindergarten, clubs, sports, food, and much much more! Paper copies will be delivered Friday; you can pick one up outside of the library or in the staff mailroom.
  • What rhymes with shake and is really delicious? That's right! You guessed it... CAKE!! It's time to get together with your friends, family, teammates, (really anyone you want), and bake a cake for this years cake auction! On November 14th during E period lunch, each cake's highest bidder gets to take home and enjoy the culinary masterpiece.   • Want to volunteer to help at an Amherst elementary school Math Night?  Do you enjoy playing games and doing puzzles that involve math?  Crocker Farm, Wildwood, and Fort River schools are organizing Math Nights for their students and they would LOVE some fun-loving, math-loving high school students to help run the games.  The first Math Night is coming up in a few weeks.  Are you interested?  See Mr. Friedman in room 221 or email him at friedmag@arps.org. Free pizza!! 
  • Swimming informational meeting- TODAY after school at the high school in room 112 from 3pm-3:45pm.  Come hear what this exciting sport is all about! " 
  • Looking to make a difference? Want to tackle and understand the different social issues that are challenging our community today? Want to become an advocate and be a leader within your community? Think about becoming a Restorative Justice Practitioner at ARHS. If you are interested please fill out interested form and let's begin the journey for change.  RJ Course Signup 
  • Latinos Unidos Organizational meeting for Thursday(11/7)  after school in the RJ classroom, RM 153. Advisors Luis Algarin and Pedro Mendez will answer any questions regarding the club. Come find out what we're all about, All are welcomed. There will be snacks! 
  • Reminder that the deadline to sign up for AP Exams is on Wednesday November 13th. Please bring your payment of $94 to room 207. The reduced fee is $53. Please let Mr. Sadiq know if you have any questions about the fees or exams. Thanks!
  • Not School Sponsored -Are you an intermediate skier or snowboarder?  Do you like helping people?  If so, consider volunteering with the Mount Snow Adaptive Ski and Snowboarding Program.  You will get all the training you need to assist people with disabilities on the mountain.  The benefits include lifelong friendships and free lift tickets!  Come to the first volunteer training session on Wednesday, November 6th from 2:30-4:30pm in room 312.  Ask Aarti Lamberg, Sora Green, Jonas Camera or Ms. Camera any questions you have about this program
  • Seniors please note that Ms. Garrity and Ms. Tracy are assembling and sending applications by deadline. Teacher recommendations, transcripts, and counselor recommendations will all be sent at the same time. The fact that something hasn't been sent PRIOR is okay. We will meet the deadline! If you have any questions about your recommendations for teachers and/or transcripts for the Guidance Team, please interact with grace and aplomb. & BREATHE.
