  • Seniors who are 18 and looking to enter the BioTech field, check out this amazing opportunity! MassBioEd Foundation is introducing an opportunity to apply to receive free training, mentorship, and a paid one-year apprenticeship at a local biotech company through their new Life Sciences Apprenticeship Program.  
     
    Women, people of color, veterans, and people who are unemployed or underemployed are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be High School graduates (or equivalent) who are 18 or older.
     
    Apprenticeship Program highlights include:
    ·    3-6 months of training, partially-paid
    ·    the opportunity to be mentored by life sciences industry professionals
    ·    a paid one-year apprenticeship placement
     
    BioManufacturing Technicians help deliver life changing biological products and therapies to patients. Technicians prepare materials necessary for cellular growth and production, monitor operations, and document workflows.

    Stipend and Salary are $1000 a month during the apprenticeship training that's either 3 months or 4-6 months. Once the training is completed, the paid apprenticeship begins.
