- National Hispanic Heritage Month begins on September 15 and ends on October 15. In honor a Fun Fact about Hispanic Heritage will be placed in the Afternoon Announcements.. We will also be sharing announcements submitted by students about influential Latinx People.

Please remember that you are allowed and encouraged to take 3 administratively excused full-day absences per year to explore post-graduate options. You are also allowed 3 excused college visits in-school sessions. These can be a great way to explore colleges and universities, do shadow days for career interest, or do vocational assessments.
The English department is still missing books that were never returned after virtual school last year! Please check your room, under your bed, and in your old backpack and bring back any and every book to the main office, your current English teacher, or ANY English teacher! Thank you!!!
- Shout Out!! Youth Activists!Do you want to make a difference in your community and advocate for social justice alongside other youth activists, all while earning up to $50 a month? You should join Shout Out! Community Action's youth leadership program. Shout Out meets after school from 3-4:30 on Zoom on your choice of either Mondays or Tuesdays, with occasional in-person field trips and service projects! This begins the week of October 25th. Find the QR Code on the Life After ARHS Bulletin Board, or outside of the Guidance Office for more information. (This is not an ARHS sponsored event.)
