  • Tomorrow's lunch will feature a homemade Haitian Joumou served with Red Beans and Rice in celebration of Black History Month
  • There were some issues with PowerSchool that kept students from being able to complete the course registration process. Those issues have been taken care of, and you should be able to finish registering for classes now. The deadline to finish registering has been moved back to Wednesday March 4th. Please finish by the end of the school day on March 4th, because your Guidance Counselors will start to meet with you on Thursday March 5th. Please let your Guidance Counselor or Mr. Sadiq know if you have any further issues registering, or any other questions. 
  • Seniors! Money Doesn't Grow on Trees...Make sure you review and complete the ARHS scholarship applications. We sent you the booklet, application instructions, and application the Friday before break. Is this Greek to you? Log onto Naviance and check your messages. Questions? Come and see Ms. Garrity or Ms. Cuffee-Gray. Never ignore FREE MONEY honestly earned.
  • Juniors and Seniors - Especially Juniors - Wednesday 5:00-8:15pm. 
    Ms. Cuffee-Gray is looking for 4-6 ambassadors for the Junior College Planning Roundtable tonight! Ambassadors will act as greeters at front and side doors, greet and chit chat with admissions officers, manage sign-in, escort participants to workshops, and participate in the roundtable at other times. Volunteers will need their own transportation. Sign-up in the Guidance Office. 
  • Do you enjoy playing games and doing puzzles that involve math?  Want to volunteer to help at an elementary school Math Night?  Fort River School is having its Math Night on Thursday March 19 from 5:30 until 7:30 PM and they would LOVE some fun-loving, math-loving high school students to help run the games.  Are you interested?  See Mr. Friedman in room 221 or email him at friedmag@arps.org.  Free pizza!! 
  • The Science Olympiad bubble tea sale is back! Stop by for the delicious milk tea!
  • Reminder to Sene-Gambian Scholars: We will meet this evening from 5:30 to 7:30 in Room 135. Please remember to bring your folders, payments, and ideas!.

  • JET's TEAM+S Participants:  Get your registration fees to Ms. Blauner (room 223) ASAP. If you are requesting a fee waiver let her know, otherwise it is $30 (checks made out to ARHS with your name in the memo line). 
  • Reminder! During every lunch period and everyday after school except Wednesday, Guidance Counselors are available in Room 141 (The Writing Lab) to answer your registration questions! 
  • We are thrilled to invite you to Spring Awakening, this year's winter musical!  A bold script with an alt-rock vibe, this Tony-Award winning show is coming to ARHS March 12-14.  Check posters around the school for info online ticket purchases, valuable advisory content, and details on the plot.  Please note that this show is not recommended to those under 14.  This electric, gorgeous show will not be one to miss!
