  • GCC Dual Enrollment - Spring Semester

    The Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Partnership (CDEP) program at Greenfield Community College provides the opportunity for students attending a participating high school or homeschool program within Massachusetts to enroll in a class or classes tuition and fee free.  The CDEP program is dependent on grant funding provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on an annual basis.   This could be a great opportunity for seniors intending to attend a community college or MA state university and transfer credits.

  • To apply for the CDEP program, students must meet ONE or more of the following criteria:

    • Student is from an underrepresented racial or ethnic group
    • Student qualifies for free or reduced lunch within the school district
    • Student is a first-generation college student (neither parent/guardian has a Bachelor’s degree or higher)
  • Additionally, CDEP Students must attend a participating school (such as ARHS) and:

    • Be in their junior or senior year of high school or homeschool program
    • Be in good academic and disciplinary standing at school (for high school students)
    • Have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher or show steadily improving grades (for high school students)*
    • Place into college-level English
    • Enroll in a zero-credit learning support class (required for students enrolling in Option 2, recommended for students enrolling in Option 1)
    • Commit to participate in a mandatory information session, college transitions workshop, and new student orientation prior to the start of the program
    • Commit to actively participate in student supports and college activities
    • Be able to provide their own computer and internet access

  • The Army National Guard will be visiting on Monday, November 8th, at 1:00pm. Like college visits, this event is open to juniors and seniors. Get a pass from Miss Garrity to attend.
