  • SENIORS: Register for the December 1 SAT and the December 8 ACT by this Friday, November 2 to avoid late fees.  These are the last test dates that you can use for fall 2019 admission.
  • Make Up Picture Day is TODAY during ALL LUNCHES outside the cafeteria. Please be aware that you may not wear hats or anything on your head or face that may change your regular appearance. Thank You!
  • The Graphic staff will be meeting after school in room 187 every day this week and next week to lay out the first issue of the newspaper this year. All staffers, old and new, are invited to attend.
  • Did you know: Menstrual products are among the MOST REQUESTED yet LEAST DONATED items in Women's shelters? Women's Rights Club is running a TAMPON AND PAD drive all month! All donations will benefit the Amherst Survival Center so that hygiene products can be available to all that need it!  Look for the signs and boxes located around in hallways around the school to donate what you can. Donations should be in sealed boxes or packages. Drive will be up until the end of the month.  We hope that this drive will bring more awareness to a natural part of human experience as well as an important public health need.
  • All students who have taken classes with Mr. Sears must pick up their artwork by Friday, November 2 or it will be sold at auction.
  • Hello! Next Friday, November 2nd from 7-10pm, the class of 2020 will be hosting a Halloween Dance! Come for fun treats, karaoke, the donut on a string activity, and a costume contest! The winner gets a prize! Tickets will be sold starting Monday October 29th at lunch for $4 and $6 at the door. Happy Halloween!
  • The Theater Company is excited to work in collaboration with SAGA to produce an immersive theater production of The Laramie Project, an award-winning play about the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepherd, an out college student that riveted the nation.  We want a large cast and will have a friendly, non-traditional audition process for the show this Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:00 in the auditorium.  Come either or both days to get involved.  See Mr. Bechtold for details
